Last time we introduced you to Merlin, a handsome Canadian Ragdoll cat with such iconic grumpy attitude. This time, let’s meet Merlin, this Merlin is just as fine-looking as the other Merlin, but has some more special features.

Is that because the name that decides their whole destiny? Merlin is such a mythical name that it is pretty rare to be named for cats. Merlin the Munchkin has milky bluish eyes and luxurious dark grey fur, can you tell it already sounds so mysterious and fits perfectly to the name?

Merlin’s parents, Nathanial Green and Elliot Green, who are working as visual artists, and thanks to that, Merlin’s Instagram account is so stunning and attractive. He now wins 117K people’s hearts on Instagram.

Elliot admitted that Merlin was not his and Nathanial’s first choice. A co-worker convinced Elliot to go to the Lynchburg Humane Society on their “Free Cat Friday”. The Greens intended to adopt a Siamese kitten, but at the time they got there, the first option was on hold or already adopted. Nevertheless, when the Greens saw Merlin, it was love at first sight. In 2017, Elliot and Nathanial Green welcome a new member home, Merlin the Munchkin.

The lady who took Elliot and Nathanial around at the event, noticed them that Merlin was not in the perfect health condition. He was recovering from a head cold and he is unable to see. Elliot when he heard that he was a little bit worried. “As a full-time student also working two jobs, I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to provide Merlin with the attention he needed.” – Elliot shared.

But at the moment when he held Merlin, he knew that this kitty was perfect.

Merlin was born blind, so that he has no concept of fear. That’s why he would jump from high places without any hesitation. The Greens couldn’t be happier when Merlin is now a part of the family. Merlin is said to be so friendly and he doesn’t hide or avoid people. “He will run up to the door to meet us and climb all over guests sitting on the couch.”
